Marketing Weekend: 15 - 16 May 2010
There are still places available for the 2010 Marketing Weekend which will take place in the Royal York Hotel from 15 – 16 May and all members are encouraged to attend. There will be a collection of trade experts on hand to share their expertise with Q Guild Butchers.
On the Saturday Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting will be available for those who wish to partake. There are also a wide range of attractions and activities within the beautiful city of York for those not wishing to shoot. On Saturday evening a Gala Dinner will be held within the hotel. On Sunday morning there will be a members meeting followed by the Marketing Programme.
The Q Guild Marketing weekend will help butchers to build on (or start!) their marketing programme and allow them to share ideas with fellow butchers, an invaluable aspect of membership. Our new quarterly publication ‘The Countryside Uncovered’ gives a great base on which to build your marketing strategy and there will be lots of guidance on how to make the best use of it
A number of marketing strategies will be discussed at the Marketing Weekend, and even picking up on the simplest ideas can provide a huge boost to any butcher’s shop and its customers.
